Responsible Play & Alcohol Disclaimer

Ultimate Cards is for entertainment only. Some optional party modes reference alcohol. These modes are restricted to adults aged 21 and over and are entirely optional. The App does not require, encourage, or reward drinking, and nothing in the App should be taken as encouragement to consume alcohol.

1. Drink Responsibly

Never drink and drive, and never operate machinery while impaired.
Know your limits. Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous and can cause serious injury, illness, or death.
Any prompt referencing alcohol can be satisfied with a non-alcoholic beverage, or skipped entirely. Substitution is always allowed.
Never pressure, coerce, or force anyone to drink. Participation is voluntary.
Do not play if you are pregnant, in recovery, taking medication affected by alcohol, under 21, or if alcohol is otherwise unsafe or unlawful for you.

2. Your Choices Are Your Own

Any decision to consume alcohol or to take any action suggested by a game prompt is made voluntarily and entirely at your own risk and discretion. Game prompts are suggestions for entertainment among consenting adults; they are not instructions you are obligated to follow.

3. Who You Invite Is Your Responsibility

These games are hosted by you, not by us. You choose who to invite, who to give a room code to, and who to hand your device to. Our age check can only confirm the date of birth on the account signed in on a particular device — it cannot see who is actually at your table, who is reading the screen alongside them, or who you pass a phone to during a round.

So the responsibility is yours. If you host or take part in a drinking game, you are responsible for making sure that everyone who joins, watches, or plays:

is at least 21 years old;
may lawfully consume alcohol where they are;
is taking part voluntarily, and knows they can substitute a non-alcoholic drink or skip any prompt; and
is not someone for whom alcohol is unsafe — see the list in Section 1.

Do not share a room code, send a game invite, or pass your device to anyone who does not meet all of the above. If you are unsure about someone at your table, do not include them. As the host you can also remove players from your game at any time.

Nothing here shifts responsibility for another person's drinking onto you against their own choices — as Section 2 says, every individual's decision to drink remains their own. But the decision about who is at the table in the first place is yours, and we have no way to make it for you.

4. No Medical Advice

The App does not provide medical, health, or safety advice. If you or someone else may have alcohol poisoning or any medical emergency, seek emergency help immediately (call 911 in the U.S. or 999/112 in the U.K.).

6. Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and as further described in our Terms of Service, Bitlitic LLC is not responsible or liable for any decision you or others make to consume alcohol or take any action while using the App. By using the alcohol-related modes, you confirm you are 21 or older and accept these terms.
